MInority Report Glass Swipe Screen Technology!

If you have ever seen Minority Report, you may have some insight into a particular type of augmented reality where you can use your fingers to scroll through and select images that are projected or embedded onto glass. As it turns out, Pranav Mistry and his friends have come up with a device that monitors movements and gestures, and sends these commands to a computer. Add a projection device and you can work wonders... It's like Minority Report!

This technology is exciting because it may help us work more efficiently and use a wall as a computer screen so we can have many windows open at once and we can stand up and move around while working. It could potentially change our entire office environments! See link below, specifically the 6-7 minute segment of the video.

  1. Take a look of what DEKKO, a US startup is doing with AR! They are launching its real world operating system that will serve as the visual layer for wearable computing devices.
